FPT & Sitecore launch AI-powered eCommerce platform

FPT and Sitecore have announced the launch of an AI-powered eCommerce accelerator called ON.E.

The new platform aims to expedite the time-to-market, enhance development efficiency, and provide a tailored solution for retailers worldwide. ON.E is powered by Sitecore's OrderCloud APIs, a flexible and scalable headless architecture that enables seamless shopping experiences across various channels, and FPT's technological expertise and extensive delivery experience.

FPT has integrated ON.E with a suite of pre-built components, composable designs, and industry-specific customisations to bolster digital commerce success. This integration reportedly reduces the time-to-market by over 30% and cuts costs by up to 55%. The included advanced AI assistant offers intelligent, data-driven recommendations to optimise eCommerce strategies, using a large language model to analyse user behaviour and synthesise recommendations from multiple engines.

In its initial roll-out year, ON.E will concentrate on key markets in the Asia-Pacific region and the United States. The platform is set to cater to all industries but will initially focus on high-demand retail sectors such as electronics, beauty and personal care, and groceries. Both FPT and Sitecore have a history of significant success in these sectors.
