Cashrewards partners with ANZ Plus for integrated cashback

Cashrewards has partnered with ANZ Plus to offer cashback services directly through the ANZ Plus app. With this new "Add-On", Cashrewards' offers can now be accessed by enabling the feature within the app, providing customers with an integrated way to earn cashback on everyday purchases.

ANZ Plus Add-Ons allow customers to personalise their banking experience with various finance management tools and third-party integrations, such as Cashrewards. "We're proud of our partnership with ANZ and the new Cashrewards integration to the ANZ Plus Add-On experience," Cashrewards CEO, Anthony Seymour-Walsh, stated.

"ANZ Plus customers can now earn cashback on everyday purchases like groceries, fuel, travel, marketplace, fashion, and view their Cashrewards balance directly within the ANZ Plus app. We are excited to help more Australian households make their household budgets stretch further." According to Mr Seymour-Walsh, ANZ customers have collectively earned over USD $50 million in cashback through Cashrewards.

Maile Carnegie, Group Executive Australia Retail at ANZ Bank, elaborated on the offering: "With Add-Ons, we offer ANZ Plus customers a range of tools and insights so they can choose how they'd like to personalise their banking experience." She added, "Integrating Cashrewards with the ANZ Plus app makes the cashback process simpler and more convenient for our customers by saving them time, and importantly, it can help customers save money on their everyday purchases from some of the biggest brands."

Cashrewards operates as a cashback platform in Australia, allowing members to earn cashback on purchases from a variety of major brands. Over 2 million members benefit from these offers, which Cashrewards' Merchant Partners fund. This partnership model has driven more than USD $4 billion in total transaction value (TTV) for participating brands, with members earning more than USD $200 million in cashback since the platform's inception.

ANZ Plus is a digital banking platform designed to help users improve their financial well-being. The app allows customers to open and manage their ANZ Plus and ANZ Save accounts, including joint accounts. Services include exploring refinancing options for home loans to facilitate quicker home ownership. Additional features highlight everyday banking efficiencies, such as integrated transact and save accounts, smart spending tools, and no monthly account fees. The app also incorporates advanced security features, including ANZ Falcon Technology and Scam Safe mechanisms.

This integration significantly enhances the customer experience by allowing streamlined access to cashback rewards within a banking app ecosystem. Both companies anticipate that this new feature will contribute towards a more user-friendly, economically beneficial banking experience for customers.
