Yesterday

Wiise has announced a new partnership with Open Door Technology (ODT) to address the challenges faced by equipment rental and service businesses in Australia.

The collaboration seeks to offer a rental management solution tailored specifically for the Australian market, by integrating ODT's rental management and service solutions directly into Wiise's cloud-based ERP and accounting software.

This move is aimed at various sectors including wholesale distribution, manufacturing, and more.

Charlie Wood, Chief Executive Officer of Wiise, stated: "Our partnership with ODT will deliver a unified, robust accounting, rental and service platform apt for the rental industries of all sizes.

By leveraging our combined expertise and resources, our collaboration will help streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and provide superior real-time data processing capabilities. This will help eliminate common issues associated with disconnected rental and accounting systems, which often lead to data discrepancies, synchronisation issues, mistakes in accounting, and lost revenue."

The integration is designed to enhance the capacity of businesses to manage various aspects of equipment rental and service. This includes verifying equipment availability, generating quotes and contracts, preparing shipments, dispatching resources, and handling equipment returns and inspections.

Additionally, the solution enables efficient processing of real-time data and management of recurring rentals, rental packages, sub-rentals, repairs, and maintenance.

Tyson Wiebe, Senior Business Development at Open Door Technology, said, "With Open Door Technology's state-of-the-art equipment rental and service solution combined with Wiise's superior business management software, Australian businesses can scale their operations efficiently and boost profits."

"Our all-in-one system will also prevent data silos, which often occur when different rental systems integrate and transfer data to the accounting system. This unified solution ensures all business units are aligned under one system, significantly enhancing the performance of rental, service, finance, and other departments," he added.

"We truly believe that a single, cloud-based solution is the best way forward to solve numerous operational and system challenges faced by rental companies."

This strategic integration is expected to provide significant advantages for businesses looking to improve operational efficiency and boost profitability through improved data alignment and reduced operational discrepancies.
