Hostinger has launched an eCommerce product for small sellers designed to support selling across multiple channels from a single dashboard.
The new offering, Hostinger Ecommerce, focuses on the operational side of a merchant's business, including products, inventory, orders, payments, shipping and customer data. Sellers can connect those functions to customer-facing channels such as websites, social networks and messaging apps without rebuilding their setup for each one.
Hostinger framed the launch around changes in how consumers discover and buy products online. It cited data showing AI-driven visits to retail sites grew 4,700% over the past year, while 76% of Gen Z consumers now discover products on social media rather than through a traditional online shop.
Quick links
One of the main launch features is Quick Links, which lets sellers upload a product photo and use artificial intelligence to generate a product page, written description and suggested price. They can then share the link directly with customers on other platforms, with checkout, payments, shipping and store management already built in.
That means a merchant can start selling without first building a full website. The approach reflects a broader shift in online retail towards sales across social platforms, messaging services and other third-party environments rather than through a single branded storefront.
Hostinger also said the product has been structured with AI shopping tools in mind. Merchant data within the platform is being organised to work with emerging systems being developed by groups including OpenAI, Google, Visa and Mastercard to help shoppers compare and buy products.
Those functions are still under development, but Hostinger is positioning the product as a way for smaller merchants to prepare for another shift in digital commerce. The platform is intended to support current sales channels as well as new ones that gain traction.
At the centre of the setup process is Kodee, Hostinger's AI support agent. The tool asks users questions about what they sell, where they sell it and which channels they want to connect, then configures store settings and suggests next steps.
Once a shop is live, Kodee can also handle routine tasks through text prompts. These include managing products, running flash sales and handling search optimisation tasks, reducing the need for users to work through menus and settings manually.
Pricing model
The new service is included at no extra cost for existing customers on Hostinger's Business plan and above. For new customers, pricing starts at USD $2.99 a month.
The launch adds eCommerce to a broader set of services that already includes domains, email, website building and web app tools. Hostinger is targeting beginners as well as small businesses that want to manage online selling from one place.
Founded in Lithuania in 2004, the company says it serves more than 5 million users in over 150 countries. Its largest markets include India, Brazil, Indonesia, the United States and France, and it employs nearly 900 people.
Auksė Žirgulė outlined the company's view of where online retail is heading.
"Commerce is moving from simple stores to ecosystems, where people discover products across channels and AI agents increasingly help them choose, compare, and buy. For small sellers, the opportunity is huge, but only if their business can move as fast as their customers do. They should not have to guess which channel will matter next. They should be able to focus on growing their business, while providers like Hostinger Ecommerce build the future-ready infrastructure around them," said Žirgulė.
