FourKites unveils AI Control Tower for supply chain leaders

FourKites has launched its Intelligent Control Tower, a platform aimed at improving supply chain collaboration and execution with a blend of real-time data, digital twins, and AI agents.

This introduction marks a significant shift from traditional methods of supply chain monitoring, as the Intelligent Control Tower moves beyond historical data analysis to offering autonomous action across various supply chain operations. The platform is designed to handle complex workflows by providing insights, assessing risks, and issuing prescriptive recommendations.

The Intelligent Control Tower utilises a combination of resources unique to FourKites. It taps into a vast network of real-time supply chain data tracking over 3.2 million shipments daily spanning more than 200 countries and involving multiple modes of transport, including road, rail, ocean, and air. The system also includes more than 1.1 million carriers and 98% of global ocean traffic.

Additionally, the platform makes use of continuously updated digital twins which provide extensive insight into real-world operations. This involves monitoring shipments, orders, inventory, and assets, which is crucial for creating a detailed context for supply chain activities.

The new digital workforce of AI agents introduced by FourKites can autonomously execute routine tasks and decisions, handling everything from track-and-trace processes to supplier management and order scheduling.
