Bon Charge launches Memorial Day sale on sleep gear

BON CHARGE has launched a Memorial Day sale across Australia, offering 25% off its products as winter travel and shorter daylight hours disrupt sleep.
The Sydney-based wellness brand said the promotion covers its sleep and recovery range, including blue light blocking glasses, infrared sauna blankets, red light therapy devices and blackout masks.
BON CHARGE linked the sale to seasonal changes in Australia, where reduced daylight and altered routines can affect sleep. It also pointed to travel-related disruption, noting that more than 1.6 million international departures were recorded in Australia in one month, with time zone shifts and changes in light exposure adding strain to circadian rhythms.
Separate research commissioned by BON CHARGE and conducted by Opinium surveyed more than 2,000 Australians for the BON CHARGE Global Wellness Tech Trend Report 2026. The findings suggest growing consumer interest in devices designed to manage screen exposure, relaxation and sleep.
Among respondents, 35% of users of blue light blocking eyewear or blue-free lighting said they adopted those products to help prevent discomfort from screen use. The report also found that 24% of red light technology users and 26% of blue light blocking device users said the products improved their sleep.
The same study found that 22% of red light technology users cited sleep improvement as a reason for adoption, compared with 30% of blue light blocking users and 25% of infrared sauna users. Improved sleep and discomfort from screen use were among the main drivers of demand in Australia, according to BON CHARGE.
Product range
The discounted products span several price points. Blue Light Blocking Glasses are listed at AUD $129.99 before discount and AUD $97.49 in the sale, while the Infrared Sauna Blanket is marked down from AUD $699.00 to AUD $524.25.
Portable devices are also included. The Mini Red Light Therapy Device is priced at AUD $224.25, down from AUD $299.00, while the Bullet Red Light Therapy Device is reduced to AUD $149.25 from AUD $199.00. Blackout Masks are discounted to AUD $37.46 from AUD $49.95.
At the top end of the range, the Super Max Red Light Therapy Device is offered at AUD $1,499.25, down from AUD $1,999.00. BON CHARGE said skin appearance was the main reason surveyed consumers used red light therapy, with 28% citing that factor.
Consumer trend
The sales push comes as wellness technology companies target demand for products used at home and while travelling. BON CHARGE said its survey linked red light therapy, blue light blocking products and infrared sauna devices with improved relaxation and sleep quality among users.
Founded in 2017 by Katie Mant and Andy Mant, the business is headquartered in Sydney. It sells products focused on sleep, recovery, beauty and wellbeing, and offers a VIP membership priced at AUD $32 a year that includes early access to sales and a higher short-term discount window.
Expert commentary on sleep, recovery and circadian rhythm is available from members of BON CHARGE's Scientific Advisory Board, including Shawn Stevenson, Health Science Communicator, Performance Research Advocate and host of The Model Health Show.
Its latest consumer data points to a market in which sleep concerns, screen exposure and travel fatigue are becoming a stronger commercial theme for wellness brands. Among users surveyed in Australia, 24% of red light technology users and 26% of blue light blocking device users cited improved sleep as a result of use.
