Australia Post ORIAS 2025 awards champion innovation & diversity
Australia Post has announced the recipients of the 2025 Impact Awards for the Australia Post Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAS), recognising excellence in innovation, sustainability, and diversity among online retailers.
2025 ORIAS winners
This year, three businesses have been recognised in the Australia Post Impact Award categories. Cool Beans Underwear has been named the winner of the Small Business Innovation Award, Koh has been recognised with the Sustainability Award, and Mettle Women Inc. has received the Diversity & Inclusion Award.
Australia Post reported that 122 online retailers entered the Impact award categories this year, highlighting the breadth of engagement across the sector. The awards aim to acknowledge organisations demonstrating purpose-led practices and notable contributions to their customers and communities.
Gary Starr, Executive General Manager Parcel, Post & eCommerce Services at Australia Post, congratulated the award winners for their achievements and contributions to the eCommerce landscape.
"It's a privilege to be part of the ORIAS each year and celebrate the changemakers shaping the future of eCommerce in Australia. With 122 online retailers entering our Impact award categories this year, it's clear that purpose-led innovation is thriving across the industry. "The Impact Awards reflect the values that drive us at Australia Post - diversity and inclusion, sustainability, and innovation. These focus areas are not only central to our purpose but are increasingly embraced by retailers committed to making a meaningful difference. We're proud to champion these areas and applaud this year's finalists and winners for their outstanding contributions," Mr Starr said.
Small Business Innovation
The Small Business Innovation Award is presented to a small business that has delivered a new product, service, improved customer experience, or business process through innovation. Cool Beans Underwear received this award for its product designed to support male reproductive health. The underwear, which is scientifically designed, regulates testicular temperature - a factor identified as key to fertility, hormonal health, and recovery. The company also focuses on encouraging men to engage in conversations around reproductive health and wellbeing.
Sustainability in eCommerce
Koh has been recognised with the Sustainability Impact Award for its approach to promoting environmentally conscious cleaning solutions. The business has developed products that avoid harsh chemicals and reduce plastic waste. Its offerings include refillable and reusable packaging, enabling customers to minimise their environmental impact and supporting sustainable lifestyle choices.
Diversity and Inclusion
The Diversity and Inclusion Impact Award celebrates eCommerce businesses that have shown an exceptional commitment to supporting diversity and creating inclusive environments. Mettle Women Inc. took the award for its work as a non-profit social enterprise that assists individuals experiencing homelessness as a result of domestic and family violence. Mettle employs, trains, and provides financial empowerment to these individuals. All profits are directed to safe work opportunities, scholarship schemes, crisis support funds, childcare subsidies, and survivor support programmes across Australia.
The ORIAS Impact Awards are structured to recognise businesses not just for commercial success but also for the broader impact they have on society and the environment. The awards continue to focus on recognising actions and strategies that serve the greater good, in addition to delivering customer or business outcomes.
