Anker SOLIX launches full home energy portfolio in Australia

Thu, 17th Apr 2025

Anker SOLIX has announced the introduction of its full portfolio of home energy solutions to the Australian market, including residential energy storage systems and portable power stations.

The company presented its technology and strategic direction at its inaugural Showcase Day in Sydney, attended by over 100 industry partners, distributors, installers, journalists, and industry experts. The event focused on ways to support energy independence for Australian households through sustainable and reliable power technologies.

John Grimes, Chief Executive Officer of the Smart Energy Council, spoke at the event and acknowledged Anker SOLIX's growing participation in Australia. Grimes stated, "Anker SOLIX's commitment to Australia is noteworthy, given the brand's strong global experience, quality products, and growing local presence."

He described the government's AUD $2.3 billion Cheaper Home Batteries Program as a "game changer" that he believes will "drive the next generation of battery adoption and solar system upgrades nationwide."

Symons Xie, Global General Manager of Anker SOLIX Home Energy Solutions, addressed the brand's vision, remarking, "Solar storage is more than just a product — it's a commitment to a sustainable future. Anker SOLIX offers dependable, efficient, and future-ready solutions, and our X1 series has been purpose-built for Australia's diverse environments and evolving energy demands."

He added that the Anker SOLIX X1 series, which includes AC-coupled, hybrid single-phase, and three-phase systems, are ready to install and CEC listed. Xie noted, "Its upgraded system design helps minimise energy loss, enhancing performance across varied Australian settings."

Sachin Sardana, Senior Business Development Manager at Anker SOLIX, highlighted both the X1 system and the company's range of portable power stations. "With a broad lineup of hybrid solutions, we're helping more Australian households tap into renewable energy — whether they're retrofitting an existing setup or building a brand-new system," Sardana explained. "This is about making sustainable energy accessible to everyone."

A strategic partnership was confirmed with OSW and Blue Sun Group, two solar distributors in Australia, as Anker SOLIX's regional partners. Elliot Shen, General Manager for Anker SOLIX ANZ Home Energy Solutions, stated both organisations aim to hasten the adoption of clean energy using products supported by Anker's expertise and technology.

The Anker SOLIX X1 home energy storage system is designed to withstand Australian conditions, offering what the company says is a high level of corrosion resistance. The system has passed a 1000-hour neutral salt spray test, surpassing the typical industry standard and achieving a C5-M anti-corrosion rating. This durability is attributed to materials such as galvanised steel, galvanised nickel fasteners, and a specialised powder coating process, reportedly allowing the system to be used confidently in coastal and offshore locations where corrosion concerns are common.

In addition to stationary storage, Anker SOLIX showed a lineup of portable energy solutions intended for use at home, in outdoor settings, and while travelling. The F3800 portable power station provides 6,000W AC output and 3.84kWh capacity, with scalability up to 26.9kWh through additional battery packs, and supports electric vehicle charging at 3,000W. The C1000 portable station offers fast charging to 80% in 43 minutes and can power 99% of appliances, featuring 2,400W output and an expandable design. For outdoor use, the C800 Plus delivers a 1,200W output, recharges in under an hour, and includes built-in camping lights, while the compact C300 offers 300W output and flexible charging options.

The EverFrost powered cooler was also displayed, providing up to 42 hours of ice-free cooling, a rapid temperature drop capability, solar input support, dual-zone cooling (in its 53L version), and features geared towards travel and outdoor use.

Anker SOLIX's event received endorsements from local installers and users, including comments from Sam Evans (known as The Electric Viking) and Leigh Storr, Chief Executive Officer of RESINC Solar, on the reliability and efficiency of the brand's products.

Anker's first retail experience store in the country opened at Chadstone, Melbourne, on the same day as the Showcase event. The store features products from Anker SOLIX and other brands under the Anker group, and includes space for training customers on product use.
