The Personalisation Engine
The most significant driver of this transformation is artificial intelligence - not as a marketing buzzword, but as a genuine operational layer inside supplement companies.
Brands like Bioniq, Elo Health, and a growing cluster of well-funded startups are deploying machine learning models that ingest a user's bloodwork, activity data, sleep patterns, dietary logs, and genetic markers to produce formulations that shift over time. The products themselves may be ancient in concept: humans have been consuming botanical extracts and mineral compounds for millennia. What's new is the intelligence wrapped around them.
By the end of 2026, the question won't be whether your supplements are personalised and connected. It will be whether the data driving that personalisation is actually making you healthier - and who gets to answer that question.
