Supply Nation’s festive catalogue highlights women-led Indigenous firms

Fri, 7th Nov 2025

Supply Nation has launched its 2025 Festive Season Catalogue, showcasing a wide range of products from certified Indigenous-owned businesses across Australia. The catalogue brings together options suitable for gifting and celebrating during the holiday period, with offerings spanning food and beverages to art, fashion and wellness goods.

Product range

The catalogue features chocolate and sparkling drinks with native flavours, clothing, jewellery, ceramics, beauty and wellness products, educational resources, and books. Gift boxes with curated items from Indigenous businesses are also included, providing ready-made options for customers seeking presents for friends, family or colleagues.

Representation of women

This year, about two-thirds of the businesses featured are owned or led by women. This reflects a broader trend in Indigenous entrepreneurship, with women driving a significant portion of new ventures in the sector.

"It's also very pleasing to see that of the businesses listed approximately two-thirds are owned or led by women entrepreneurs. Indigenous women are driving innovation and creating real change across communities throughout Australia," said Kate Russell, Chief Executive Officer, Supply Nation.

Economic impact

Supply Nation highlighted findings from its recent report, The Sleeping Giant Rises, which indicated that Indigenous-owned businesses generate considerable positive economic and social benefits. According to the report, each dollar of revenue generated by these businesses creates AUD $3.66 of value for the Australian economy.

The report defines social value through the perspective of Indigenous wellbeing, encompassing factors such as cultural connection, community links, health, financial security, and self-determination. The positive impact is realised through business operations, not including additional support or philanthropic initiatives.

Cultural contribution

Supply Nation emphasised the connection between commerce and cultural engagement. Businesses listed in the catalogue are all Indigenous-owned and verified through Supply Nation's regular audit process.

"When you purchase from businesses listed in our catalogue you can be assured that you are purchasing high-quality, unique and authentic Indigenous products with real connection to Country and Culture. But more than that, you are contributing to positive change and greater self-determination for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples," said Russell.

Sector diversity

Indigenous-owned businesses now operate in all sectors of the Australian economy, according to Supply Nation. The catalogue represents a cross-section of these businesses, which the organisation says exemplifies the variety and quality available.

Russell stated, "Indigenous-owned businesses are operating across all sectors of the economy, and this is just a small sample of the excellence on show. We hope all Australians will have the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Indigenous Culture and the positive contributions being made by Indigenous businesses by engaging with our catalogue and sharing with friends and family."
