Peak unveils Agentic AI suite to boost retail & manufacturing

Thu, 2nd Oct 2025

Peak, a UiPath company, has introduced a suite of Agentic AI solutions now in use at Hain Celestial and Speedy Hire, aiming to enhance operational efficiency across retail and manufacturing.

The newly launched Agentic AI suite includes Agentic Merchandising, Agentic Inventory Management, and Agentic Commercial Pricing. These solutions are designed to act autonomously rather than simply offering recommendations, aiming to address current market challenges such as complex supply chains, fluctuating demand, and changing commercial environments.

Agentic approach

Traditional AI systems typically generate insights or suggestions based on analytical dashboards. In contrast, Peak's Agentic AI operates by predicting scenarios, making decisions, and taking pre-defined actions, all within highly dynamic business environments. Peak contends that this active AI paradigm provides a fundamental shift for organisations dealing with operational complexity and frequent market changes.

Richard Potter, CEO and co-founder of Peak, said, "This new era in AI technologies, built on large language models, offers unprecedented potential for businesses to increase their own performance. At the same time, businesses are under enormous pressure to adapt quickly to growing operational complexity, market volatility, changing demand and supply chain disruptions.
"Our agentic AI solutions give our customers the ability to optimize and automate every complex commercial decision in their business - from moving products around their network, to pricing their products perfectly, to managing demand. Together, these capabilities are allowing them to drive increased performance while dealing with this ever-changing business environment we face today."

The suite's capabilities are being applied in practice at companies such as The Hain Celestial Group and Speedy Hire, who are addressing distinct business challenges using these tools.

Retail case: Hain Celestial

The Agentic Inventory Management tool is being used at Hain Celestial, which owns food brands including Ella's Kitchen and Hartley's. By leveraging predictive planning and trade-off analysis, the solution is intended to optimise procurement, production, and fulfilment, ultimately reducing inefficiencies and building resilience in the supply chain.

James Cranfield, Vice President International Supply Chain at Hain Celestial Group, said, "Working with Peak is helping us build a smarter, more resilient supply chain. By using Agentic Inventory Management, we're able to anticipate and respond to demand volatility more effectively, ensuring our customers get the products they love while reducing inefficiencies across our operations."

This approach is intended to allow businesses like Hain Celestial to adapt to rapid market shifts, protect service levels, and minimise wasted resources.

Commercial pricing and the service sector

Speedy Hire, a provider of tools and equipment hire, is utilising the Agentic Commercial Pricing solution to support its pricing strategy. The solution is designed to manage various pricing decisions, including list pricing and real-time quotes, by learning from historical bid data and optimising pricing strategies for better deal conversion and win rates.

George Foster-Jones, Commercial Finance Director at Speedy, said, "We've been huge believers in AI to optimise the performance of our operations and commercial activities for several years. Now, with the advances in agentic AI, we can take this even further. Our vision is to have specialised AIs, such as Peak's Agentic Commercial Pricing, working alongside our teams to optimize every price we set. This ensures our customers always get the best possible offer and service from Speedy."

Speedy Hire expects that the adoption of agentic AI will result in faster, sharper pricing decisions, helping to maintain margins and improve competitiveness, especially in volatile market conditions.

Broader implications

Peak's Agentic Merchandising also aims to enhance efficiency in retail operations by automating and optimising cycles such as supplier coordination, distribution, buying, marketing, and markdowns. By reducing manual tasks and balancing business objectives like revenue, margin, and inventory levels, retail teams are expected to react more quickly to evolving market trends.

Peak's suite is positioned towards organisations searching for adaptive automation as they manage increasingly complex commercial landscapes. Major brands already utilising Peak's AI in other domains include Nike, The Body Shop, Marshalls, and Eurocell.

Peak was acquired by UiPath earlier in 2025.
