Ecommpay and NORBr have formed a partnership that gives NORBr partners access to Ecommpay's acquiring and payment orchestration services through a pre-integration.
The agreement links NORBr's infrastructure-as-a-service platform with Ecommpay's payments platform. The companies said NORBr partners can activate Ecommpay without custom development. The offer targets merchants, Payment Facilitators, Independent Software Vendors and Independent Sales Organisations.
Access model
NORBr provides payments infrastructure for platforms that embed payments into software products and services. Ecommpay offers acquiring and orchestration services across card payments and other payment types.
NORBr said its partners will get access to Ecommpay's stack through an integration within NORBr's platform. The companies said new merchants can connect to Ecommpay in minutes. They also said partners can start routing payment traffic after activation.
The offer includes support for merchants that trade in local markets and for those that sell across borders. The companies positioned the partnership around faster deployment and operational efficiency.
Payment methods
Ecommpay said its platform supports more than 100 alternative payment methods. It also supports card payments, wallets and open banking payments.
The company listed features that include smart payment routing and a unified dashboard for reporting. It also listed recurring billing and subscription features, virtual terminals, payment links and multi-currency options.
Ecommpay also referenced fraud prevention and risk management in the product set. It said the platform supports omnichannel and recurring business models.
Platform fit
NORBr said its infrastructure works with vertical SaaS, marketplaces and B2B platforms. It referenced embedded finance features as part of the fit with those platforms.
The companies also said the pre-integration covers payouts and settlements. They framed this as a simplification of payment operations for businesses that manage multiple payment types and markets.
Executive comments
NORBr described the partnership as a combination of acquiring and infrastructure.
"This partnership brings together the best of both worlds: robust acquiring from Ecommpay, and the infrastructure agility of NORBr" said Charles Guinet, SVP Business Development EMEA at NORBr. "Together, we enable platforms to move faster, stay compliant, and deliver comprehensive and consistent payment experiences. Through this exciting new partnership, our existing users can access Ecommpay's payment solutions instantly. And whether they choose to use Ecommpay for acquiring, revenue-sharing, or subscriptions and recurring payments, there's a team of experts to support them with integration and compliance.
Guinet also described how NORBr's product structure fits the joint offer.
"Combined with our modular stack, this partnership allows platforms to launch fast, scale smart and reduce their time-to-revenue while retaining full control over routing logic, fallback, and tokenisation workflows. As well as delivering innovative payment solutions, Ecommpay shares our values for inclusivity, accessibility and sustainability, making it a perfect partner for NORBr moving forward."
Ecommpay said it built its product set around merchant needs across markets and payment preferences.
"Ecommpay solutions are built to meet real market need, tackling pain points and providing merchants with the ability to deliver consistent, optimised payments experiences every time, regardless of where in the world their customer is based and what their preferred payment method or currency might be. Now, through our partnership with NORBr, its users have access to our award-winning, inclusive payment platform, to help maximise acceptance rates and minimise drop-offs during the checkout process," said Roy Blokker, Head of Strategic Sales, Ecommpay.
Geographic scope
Ecommpay said it provides coverage across Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas and the Middle East and North Africa. It also listed a carbon-neutral checkout page among the features available through the platform.
The companies said partners can test and activate the Ecommpay service without added cost. They also said there is no onboarding delay under the NORBr activation model.
In the coming months, the two companies said NORBr partners will be able to use Ecommpay services for acquiring, revenue-sharing, and subscription and recurring payment models.
