Australia Post and Inside Retail have announced Guy Nappa, Co-Founder and COO of Oz Hair & Beauty, as the winner of Inside Retail's Top 50 People in E-Commerce for 2025. Now in its tenth year, the prestigious list highlights the industry's most influential figures driving innovation and growth.

The finalists were recognised for their contributions to enhancing customer experience, expanding into international markets, and incorporating generative AI (GenAI) technology into their operations. Nappa stood out to the judging panel for his leadership in transforming Oz Hair & Beauty into an omnichannel business, achieving notable expansion and sustained growth.

Australia Post, which plays a key role in supporting Australian businesses through its delivery network, technology, and workforce, continues to invest in eCommerce as a major component of its operations. Gary Starr, Executive General Manager Parcel, Post, and eCommerce Services at Australia Post, said the organisation was proud to support the annual awards.

"Australia Post is proud to sponsor the tenth anniversary of Inside Retail's Top 50 People in E-Commerce, as a key supporter of eCommerce businesses, both large and small, helping them thrive in a dynamic and competitive market," Starr said.

"The Top 50 have shown a laser focus on transforming the customer experience, rivalling global competitors, and leveraging leading GenAI technology to build efficiencies. Australia Post sees immense value in supporting and recognising these individuals, as we also continue to innovate and transform our own network and services.

"eCommerce has cemented itself as the new normal, and Australia Post is committed to providing the network capabilities, support, and consumer insights to help Australian businesses thrive and reach their customers through reliability, simplicity and choice."

Inside Retail's annual list recognises professionals who are shaping the future of online retail. Amie Larter, CEO of Octomedia, the publisher of the report, highlighted the increasing specialisation of roles within the industry and the growing talent pool driving the sector forward.

"At Inside Retail, we are committed to comprehensively identifying the leading figures in eCommerce," Larter said.

"This year's competition was particularly rigorous, making selection for the list a significant achievement. We extend a big congratulations to the phenomenal talent included in this year's list."

The judging panel for the 2025 awards included Australia Post General Manager Freight Services, Prasad Gokhale, and Australia Post General Manager Technology, Sam Shaheen. Both judges attended the official awards ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, 19 February, in Melbourne.

The recognition of eCommerce leaders like Nappa reflects the ongoing transformation of Australia's digital retail landscape. With businesses increasingly adopting advanced technologies and prioritising customer experience, the sector continues to evolve in response to market demands.
