Tue, 29th Oct 2024

Dynatrace has announced the availability of its platform on Microsoft Azure in Australia, enabling local customers to streamline deployment and benefit from integrated cloud modernisation solutions.

With the launch, Dynatrace clients in Australia can leverage Azure data centre regions to access AI, automation, and analytics capabilities within the country.

This offering aims to provide insights into Azure workloads, applications, and services, aligning with local data residency requirements. The company believes these capabilities will contribute to faster innovation, improved business outcomes, complexity reduction, and proactive issue resolution. This will assist teams in optimising their Azure environments and enhance user experiences.

"We are thrilled to announce the availability of Dynatrace on Microsoft Azure in Australia, enabling our joint customers to unlock insights from their observability data," said Andrew Foot, Regional Vice President of Sales, Australia at Dynatrace.

"This milestone underscores our commitment to strengthening our relationship with Microsoft and helping customers optimise their IT investments. We are excited to drive substantial value and support the swift modernisation of Australia's cloud infrastructure."

The service is available through the Azure Marketplace, allowing customers to use their Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC).

This includes access to integrations such as the Azure Native Dynatrace Service, which automates monitoring of Azure subscription activity and resource logs. This feature is intended to help users optimise cloud workloads and redirect resources to other strategic business initiatives.

Vanessa Sorenson, Managing Director of Microsoft New Zealand, also commented on the collaboration.

"Microsoft and Dynatrace are committed to empowering Australia's top organisations to drive innovation and achieve outstanding business results," she said.

"We're pleased to announce that Dynatrace is now available as a native SaaS solution for our joint Australian customers. This allows them to fully utilise Microsoft Azure's robust, cloud-native architecture while operating seamlessly within the Azure cloud platform. Moreover, the availability of Dynatrace in the Azure Marketplace ensures that IT professionals can easily access and benefit from this advanced solution."

Dynatrace is now accessible in the Microsoft Azure Australia East region.
