Cevo unveils new digital strategy 'Cevo Nexus' for cloud adoption services
Thu, 2nd Nov 2023

AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Cevo, will release its new business initiative, Cevo Nexus, tomorrow. This digital-focused strategy seeks to intersect Cevo's expert services with cloud adoption to streamline cloud journeys, foster business transformation, and provide organisations with tailored solutions to tackle intricate challenges.

The innovative solutions under Cevo Nexus utilise repeatable methods to hasten customers' modernisation, data, optimisation, and security initiatives. This approach targets to simplify common IT processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality by leveraging tested methodologies. By doing so, the fresh approach aims to meet businesses wherever they currently are in their cloud adoption journey.

The launch of Cevo Nexus signifies a critical progression for Cevo, as it restructures into three core services: Modernisation, Data and AI, and Advisory, moving away from its previous alignment around the capabilities of migration, DevOps, cloud native, data engineering and managed services. This adaptation displays the firm's agility to pivot its operations in response to the changing market demography.

The strategy was successfully unveiled during three AWS roadshows held in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in October. This allowed Cevo to introduce its expanded capability areas, further complimenting their existing service offerings. The strategy was marked impactful as per the positive responses received during these roadshows.

Describing Cevo Nexus as a "pivotal moment in our go-to-market strategy", Carl Lowenborg, National Sales Director at Cevo, expressed confidence in the reorganised practices.

Lowenborg stated, "With our reorganised practices and repeatable solutions, we're better positioned to meet the evolving needs of our customers, particularly in industries like financial services, retail, utilities, and the public sector. Our commitment to AWS ensures that we can continue providing high-quality services to help businesses navigate their cloud journeys faster, and with confidence."

The introduction of Cevo Nexus comes after the recent addition of Allison Howells as Data and AI Practice Lead, along with Sean Hooper assuming the role of the Modernisation Practice Lead. This strategic shift shows a strong alignment with current market trends, as organisations undertaking their cloud migration journey are growingly seeking opportunities to modernise and optimise using cloud technology.

Stefan Buchman, CTO, Cevo, highlighted the company's spirit of innovation, stating, "At Cevo, we're driving innovation by leveraging our technical expertise to unlock the true potential of advanced cloud technologies."

"With Cevo Nexus, we are focusing on tailored solutions that incorporate artificial intelligence and robust security controls to ensure our customers are empowered in their cloud adoption. This strategy marks a significant step forward in enhancing our capabilities to meet the evolving demands of our customers in both the commercial and public sectors."
