Blue Yonder powers supply chains for 20 Gartner top 25 firms
Blue Yonder has announced that 20 of the companies featured in Gartner's "Supply Chain Top 25 for 2025" are users of its supply chain management solutions.
Within the 'Masters' category, which recognises organisations demonstrating long-term excellence, three out of the four listed companies are customers of Blue Yonder. The company has underlined this as evidence of its capabilities in supporting high-performing, digitally sophisticated, and sustainability-minded global supply chains during a period of increasing complexity in the sector.
Industry benchmarking
The Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 report is widely viewed as a standard for measuring operational best practice, drawing upon a combination of quantitative metrics and qualitative peer evaluations. In its most recent edition, Gartner highlighted three overarching trends that are driving success among leading supply chains: agentic artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous operations, and water stewardship. This marks an increasing overlap between digital agility and environmental goals in supply chain management.
Blue Yonder suggests that its AI-powered platform, which features the Cognitive Solutions suite, has played a critical role in helping customers meet these industry challenges. The suite is engineered to deliver operational capabilities at "machine speed, scale, and precision," supporting collaboration between AI systems and human teams across planning, logistics, fulfilment, and returns.
Technical partnerships and advances
The core Blue Yonder Platform is integrated with the Snowflake AI Data Cloud, supporting the company's Cognitive Solutions offering. Blue Yonder has introduced five new AI agents designed to provide enhanced supply chain visibility, more informed decision-making, and improved execution. These agents supply capabilities such as real-time analysis, rapid scenario modelling, and the ability to carry out autonomous corrective actions—qualities that are of particular value in volatile and disruptive operational environments.
"Supply chains today can no longer rely on static systems or manual coordination. They need AI that can adapt and act in real-time," a Blue Yonder spokesperson said. "Our Cognitive Solutions and AI agents are designed to enable exactly that — providing the intelligence and agility our customers need to stay ahead."
Sustainability in supply chains
Blue Yonder has also launched the Sustainable Supply Chain Manager, which is aimed at embedding environmental goals within core supply chain decision-making. The solution gives organisations the tools to assess and optimise operations based on carbon emissions and waste, in addition to traditional criteria such as cost and speed. According to the company, this functionality enables customers to align business performance with broader net-zero objectives.
"Our customers are under mounting pressure to deliver on both economic and environmental metrics," said the spokesperson. "By integrating carbon and waste tracking into their core operations, they can make smarter decisions that benefit both the planet and the bottom line."
Market positioning
Blue Yonder reports that it is one of only two vendors to be named a Leader in three Gartner Magic Quadrant reports—specifically in the areas of Supply Chain Planning, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). According to Blue Yonder, this acknowledgement reflects its capabilities in supporting digital transformation throughout the entire supply chain.
The alignment with macro trends identified by Gartner—such as intelligence, autonomy, and environmental stewardship—positions Blue Yonder's platform as a significant tool for organisations aiming to achieve next-generation supply chain performance.
