Adyen & RMS Cloud extend partnership for seamless payments
Global payments platform Adyen has announced an ongoing partnership with Australian property management solution RMS Cloud, aimed at empowering over 7,000 properties worldwide with an enhanced hospitality platform experience.
The collaboration introduces RMS Pay, a fully embedded payment solution designed to simplify financial management for hospitality businesses, leading to operational efficiencies and significant cost reductions.
The partnership, which began in 2022, addresses evolving challenges within the hospitality sector such as fraud, payment complexities, and cumbersome financial processes. RMS Cloud and Adyen have rolled out a system allowing properties to consolidate payments, reconciliation, and reporting into one platform. This has resulted in reported annual savings of between AUD $50,000 and AUD $200,000, alongside a 6-times faster payment processing time and a 93% reduction in disputes.
Peter Buttigieg, Founder and Managing Director of RMS Cloud, expressed the impact of the collaboration on the business. "This partnership marks a significant milestone for RMS Cloud as we continue to grow the business both locally and overseas. We want to continue to provide the best-in-business platform for our users that is secure and reliable. In order to meet the needs of an evolving industry, it's vital for us to work with a partner like Adyen who's able to take our platform to the next level and provide our customers with the best and most effective solutions to manage and operate their properties," he said.
RMS Cloud has been providing property management solutions for over 40 years, allowing hospitality businesses to optimise resources and enhance operational efficiency. The platform offers integrated tools such as a channel manager and booking engine, aimed at improving guest experiences and streamlining processes. The integration with Adyen's platform technology further simplifies these processes, freeing up valuable time and resources for businesses to reinvest in growth and innovation.
Adyen, known for its end-to-end payment capabilities and data-driven insights, has expressed enthusiasm about the continued partnership. Hayley Fisher, Country Manager for Adyen in Australia and New Zealand, remarked, "We are thrilled to continue our journey with RMS Cloud in a partnership that is growing from strength to strength. In an industry where operational efficiency is crucial, we know that embedding payments and providing a simple way to report and reconcile back office functions can be a gamechanger. We are proud to be the partner of choice for RMS Cloud in helping them attain a streamlined and simplified platform experience."
The ongoing collaboration highlights a significant transformation in the hospitality sector, where technological advancements are increasingly becoming vital for businesses to sustain competitiveness and operational efficiency. Properties worldwide are now able to leverage the benefits of a unified platform for all reconciliation and reporting needs, resulting in improved processing speed, reduced disputes, and enhanced guest experience with increased contactless check-ins.
The partnership between Adyen and RMS Cloud is an example of how companies are collaborating to develop solutions that meet the changing demands of the hospitality industry, ensuring businesses can handle challenges effectively while also achieving cost-efficiency and operational improvements.
