Valtech teams up with Adobe for the Always 100 project

Yesterday

Valtech has embarked on its Always 100 project in collaboration with Adobe Commerce to enhance website performance and speed.

Always 100 aims to improve brands' online commerce experiences by introducing new features such as product discovery, cart and checkout experiences, and B2B functionalities while maintaining efficient website performance using Edge Delivery Services in Adobe Commerce and Adobe Experience Manager.

Christopher Brabender, Vice President of Technology, Commerce at Valtech, stated: "As a tech innovator, we're on a quest to create the world's fastest web experiences, and the Always 100 project is crucial to achieving this goal. The project represents a promise to our clients that we will strive to ensure their site speed is lightning-fast, through Edge Delivery Services in Adobe Commerce. We look forward to rolling this approach out to more Valtech clients."

With statistics indicating that one in four visitors abandon a website that loads in more than four seconds, and 82% of consumers admit that slow page speeds influence their purchasing decisions, the project seeks to address these common challenges faced by many e-commerce platforms today.

Valtech's commitment through the Always 100 initiative is to improve Lighthouse performance scores for commerce clients, which currently range between 16 and 27 out of 100 for some leading e-commerce sites. By simplifying build processes and reducing reliance on heavy frontend frameworks, Valtech aims to elevate these performance scores for its commerce clients close to 100.

The initiative further aims to streamline processes for authors and developers through Adobe Commerce's Edge Delivery Services. It facilitates the use of familiar authoring tools like Google Drive and SharePoint, which can significantly reduce time-to-value. Developers benefit from staying within native CSS and JavaScript environments and can leverage built-in pull request testing that maintains high-performance standards of 100.

Adobe's Tony Sanders, Senior Director of Americas Partner Sales, commented on the partnership: "Valtech's ability to deliver both creativity and technical excellence makes it the perfect partner for brands looking to enhance their commerce experiences. The Always 100 project taps into powerful Adobe Experience Cloud solutions to help Valtech customers meet critical business objectives, including delivering increased traffic and better conversion rates."

The Always 100 project by Valtech, in collaboration with Adobe Commerce, reflects a significant step toward addressing the critical challenges e-commerce platforms face regarding website performance and user experience. By focusing on enhancing speed and streamlining processes, this initiative aims to meet the growing demands of online shoppers and brands alike.

As digital commerce continues to evolve, projects like Always 100 highlight the importance of leveraging innovative technologies to create seamless and efficient online experiences. The success of such initiatives will ultimately depend on their ability to adapt to changing consumer expectations and deliver tangible results for businesses.

This project comes amid a period of significant growth and momentum for Valtech, whose portfolio includes work with renowned brands such as Toyota, Carters, Johnson Controls, and Heineken.
