Rufaro Mtuwa steps into General Manager role at Insignia

Rufaro Mtuwa has been appointed General Manager of insignia, an Australian supplier of coding and marking technologies.

Rufaro, who joined insignia in 2011 through the Winson Group graduate program, has garnered experience across multiple departments, including Sales and Customer Experience. Her most recent role involved leading the Shared Services team and managing insignia's separation from Winson Group before its acquisition by Peacock Group.

"I'm excited to lead insignia during this transformative period," Rufaro commented. "In this new role, I will focus on driving business strategy, fostering growth, and cultivating a strong company culture, while continuing to work closely with the executive and management teams across the Group. insignia, now part of Peacock Group, operates alongside key businesses such as Peacock Bros. and AMR Hewitts Print Packaging. With over 115 staff and a customer base exceeding 3,500, insignia aims to provide world-class product identification and traceability solutions.

Rufaro brings over a decade of experience to her new role, and her leadership will be centred on driving operational excellence and reinforcing insignia's growth strategy.
