Quanton appoints Chris Wyman to lead Australia growth push
Quanton has announced the appointment of Chris Wyman as its new Head of Growth and Development for Australia.
Wyman brings over two decades of experience in the Australian technology sector, having held senior positions at firms such as Freshworks and monday.com, and most recently serving as Sales Director at global data, technology, and services company Epsilon.
Quanton, an AI, automation, and transformation consultancy headquartered in New Zealand, is seeking to expand its presence across Australia, building on an existing customer base and a strategy focused on sustainable business growth for clients through pragmatic use of artificial intelligence and automation.
The company aims to assist businesses in both Australia and New Zealand in saving five million hours annually by offering practical, high-quality solutions designed to unlock tangible business value.
Chris Wyman said his experience as an early employee for a number of technology firms has shaped his approach to market expansion and client engagement. "I have a deep understanding of AI, RPA and digital transformation, and supported by Quanton's existing team I will be working closely with local organisations to streamline processes, enhance customer experiences and unlock new levels of productivity to accelerate their business success," he said.
He added, "Working with a company like Quanton that has the customer at the forefront of everything it does, and is forward thinking with a growth mindset, is key for me."
Quanton was established in New Zealand in 2016 and has grown in step with the rapid development and adoption of automation and AI technologies in the region. The company's approach emphasises the pragmatic implementation of emerging technologies to maximise productivity and profitability.
Garry Green, Quanton Founder and Managing Director, stated, "We believe that people should be empowered by technology, not replaced by it and that the future of work is about enhancing human potential through thoughtful and ethical integration of artificial intelligence and automation.
"Having Chris on the ground in Australia strengthens our ability to accomplish this, by taking a pragmatic, human-centered approach to innovation and transformation to create high-quality solutions that generate real business value for Australian organisations."
Green noted that Quanton has experienced steady growth in the Australian market over the past two years, with increasing momentum in more recent months.
He said, "The ANZ AI market is experiencing rapid growth, with investment projected to quadruple in 2025. Many businesses are shifting from evaluation to implementation, focusing on practical applications like agentic automation within their business and customer service.
"The future anticipates deeper AI integration, autonomous agents, enhanced customer experiences, and a focus on responsible AI. Businesses are starting to accelerate adoption to gain a competitive edge, meet customer expectations, and drive productivity in this evolving landscape."
Chris Wyman highlighted the evolving role of AI in business and society. "We have gone through the software-as-a-service stage and the chatbots - now it's about that next level of AI. I'm excited to be working in a company that is at the forefront of empowering new ways of working through generative AI and automation and always using that human element," he said.
Wyman further commented, "AI isn't about removing humans. It's about giving back the human element - enabling us to be more human by doing the things humans are best at, rather than the mundane repetitive tasks more easily handled by machines."
Quanton's current strategy is underpinned by an advisory-led approach and specialised use of emerging automation and AI technologies, with the goal of aligning digital transformation initiatives to organisational vision and strategic objectives.
