Quandoo integrates with reservation systems to aid restaurants

Wed, 14th Aug 2024

Quandoo for Restaurants has announced the integration of its platform with various reservation systems, enabling restaurants to connect their existing tools with Quandoo's marketplace. This development aims to facilitate easier management of bookings and enhance customer reach for restaurants.

Integration partners include ResDiary and SevenRooms, as well as others through Mozrest, a channel manager that connects Quandoo to various reservation software providers.

Diners using the Quandoo marketplace can search for restaurants based on cuisine, location, and price, among other criteria, assisting them in discovering new venues. Additionally, the marketplace offers a loyalty programme through which diners can earn points and receive cashback with every booking.

The integration provides a streamlined connection between in-house booking systems and Quandoo’s marketplace, featuring automatic syncing of guest and inventory data. This functionality aims to present participating restaurants with a consolidated view of all bookings. By offering real-time insights, the need for manual data entry is eliminated and the risk of missed or double bookings is reduced. This feature is expected to help restaurants maximise revenue opportunities and provide a smooth dining experience that encourages customer return.

Dan Rodrick, Head of Sales ANZ at Quandoo for Restaurants, highlighted the significance of this development: “We know the last few years have been incredibly challenging for the industry and we want to do as much as we can to help restaurants fill tables. Integrations are an important step towards making it even easier for restaurants to manage bookings and connect with more diners. By working with other reservation management tools we are giving restaurants new avenues to get more bookings.”

The integration capability is currently available to restaurant partners in Australia, with plans likely for broader rollout.
