Megantic, a digital marketing agency, has secured three significant awards at the recent Global Agency Awards. The accolades received are Best Agency Culture, Best eCommerce Agency, and Best SEO Agency. These recognitions underscore Megantic's dedication to fostering a positive work environment, advancing eCommerce success, and excelling in search engine optimisation.

In the category of Best Agency Culture, Megantic's efforts in creating an inclusive and supportive work environment stood out. The agency prides itself on maintaining a gender-balanced workforce, with 50.4% of its 140-plus team members identifying as female. This emphasis on gender diversity includes various initiatives to support and mentor women in the tech industry. Among these initiatives is a four-year mentoring partnership with The Mac.Robertson Girls High School in Victoria, Australia. This program aims to encourage young women to pursue careers in digital fields.

Furthering its commitment, Megantic has launched a mentoring initiative with Deakin University. This programme seeks to support women at the university level by providing them with guidance and resources to thrive in the tech sector.

Jeremy Hanger, General Manager of Megantic, commented on the importance of culture initiatives: "At Megantic, we've seen firsthand the impact of our culture initiatives on employee productivity and happiness. By prioritising inclusivity and support, we've created an environment where everyone feels valued and empowered to contribute their best work, and the results for our clients are very strong."

The agency's commitment to building a robust team culture is also reflected in its internal initiatives. These include a global staff recognition programme and an employee engagement platform, which have yielded significant improvements in productivity, client satisfaction, and employee satisfaction. Megantic's global net promoter score stands at 92, with an average employee retention rate of 90% and a client retention rate of 96%.

In terms of personal development, Megantic allocates substantial budget and time to personalised career coaching, monthly lunch-and-learn sessions, peer-to-peer mentoring, and a global online training platform to centralise resources.

The award for Best eCommerce Agency highlighted a key case study with The White Collection, an Australian bridal store. Megantic's strategy focused on balancing the store's luxury identity while enhancing keyword search dominance. This approach led to a substantial restructuring of the website, increasing product categories from 52 to 204 and adding 185 new pages with optimised metadata. The results included a 117% growth in the top 3 keyword search results, a 61% rise in average order value, and a 94% increase in revenue.

Another case study that contributed to Megantic winning the Best SEO Agency award was their work with Louenhide, a fashion and accessories brand. The main goal was to migrate Louenhide's website to Shopify while establishing a clear website identity. The agency conducted extensive research and optimised the Shopify website hierarchy by adding indexable and searchable SEO subcategories. This effort led to the creation of 107 new pages, a 276% increase in first-page keywords, and an 80% growth in organic search revenue.

Judges from the Global Agency Awards remarked on Megantic's initiatives, highlighting the significant impact on both their team and business. They noted the agency's high employee and client retention rates as evidence of effective investment in software, tools, and a dedicated team. The judges also commended Megantic's excellent programmes aimed at developing next-generation talent.
