Lenovo unveils new AI solutions to aid enterprise adoption

Lenovo has unveiled a range of AI services and solutions intended to assist businesses in integrating, scaling, and evolving private AI more effectively. The newly announced offerings include GPU resources on demand, AI-driven systems management, and advanced liquid cooling services, aimed at making AI more accessible and manageable across various industries.

With the goal of streamlining AI initiatives, businesses can now enhance productivity, security, and agility while adeptly managing the heightened demands on data centres brought about by AI developments. The Lenovo TruScale GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) is designed to provide scalable GPU resources through a pay-as-you-go model. This service integrates with Lenovo TruScale for HPC solutions, allowing organisations immediate access to essential AI and high-performance computing (HPC) technology. The GPUaaS utilises NVIDIA GPU resources managed through Lenovo's Intelligent Computer Orchestration (LiCO) technology, facilitating efficient workload management and cost control.

For system management, Lenovo has introduced Lenovo XClarity One, a unified platform that combines AI and systems management to enhance operations. The platform features AI-powered predictive failure analytics and a new AIOps Systems Management engine, providing proactive insights into potential system issues. This approach aims to enhance reliability, security, and scalability while reducing the burden on IT teams.

In terms of cooling solutions, Lenovo Power and Cooling Services include Lenovo Neptune's direct liquid cooling technology, which has been in use for over a decade and aids in lowering power consumption by up to 40%. This service offers comprehensive advisory and integration support, helping businesses optimise their AI workloads while also pursuing sustainability objectives.
