Dayforce unveils AI-driven workforce planning with Agentnoon merge

Tue, 14th Oct 2025

Dayforce has announced the launch of its Strategic Workforce Planning tool, expanding its AI-powered people platform to provide organisations with enhanced workforce planning capabilities integrated with broader business outcomes.

The solution's expedited release follows Dayforce's acquisition of Agentnoon, a workforce planning platform designed to make the enterprise planning process more intuitive and collaborative by shifting away from isolated, complex methods. Agentnoon's platform is now incorporated into Dayforce, supporting the company's ongoing focus on a unified user experience and consistent data model.

According to Dayforce, the new tool addresses a key challenge organisations face in the rapidly evolving landscape defined by artificial intelligence and rising demands for efficiency and compliance.

"Today's world of work has been turned upside down by the expectations of AI transformation in combination with accelerating demands to increase innovation, efficiencies, and compliance. Organisations are struggling and hungry for more powerful workforce planning technology to keep up," said Joe Korngiebel, Chief Strategy, Product & Technology Officer at Dayforce. "Dayforce Strategic Workforce Planning meets the moment - arming leaders with an easy-to-use, collaborative tool to anticipate change, sharpen decisions, and drive returns - all within a single, AI-powered platform where you're already storing workforce data and making key workforce decisions."

The Strategic Workforce Planning tool is intended to streamline and modernise the planning process for organisations. Among its core features, customers can expect the ability to accelerate planning cycles, replacing lengthy, manual data processing and isolated spreadsheets with a tool that promises to turn weeks of planning into minutes. Centralised, current organisational and workforce data provides users with a consolidated perspective on workforce composition and cost drivers.

Users are also able to model different scenarios, forecast workforce needs, evaluate costs, and align HR, finance, and business stakeholders through shared, data-driven plans. The interface has been designed to simplify the planning experience for teams across the enterprise by offering conversational interaction, improved scenario modelling, and easier reporting and collaboration.

Holistic workforce insights

Dayforce states that the new tool supports planning across all workforce types, including permanent staff, contingent and gig workers, providing leaders across organisational levels with the information required to balance resources and align workforce spending with strategic goals.

This integration enables Chief Human Resources Officers to anticipate skill requirements and prepare for organisational changes, such as those prompted by AI or global business expansion.

Chief Financial Officers can utilise up-to-date forecasting and scenario modelling to directly connect workforce planning with financial outcomes, while Chief Information Officers benefit from consolidated systems that help reduce integration expenditures and improve time-to-value.

Agentnoon integration

Agentnoon's contribution through its platform and expertise is identified as a key driver of this launch. Ali Nawab, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agentnoon, emphasised the focus on intelligent workforce planning:

"Agentnoon recognised the key to unlocking successful organisational transformation: modern, intelligent workforce planning. That's why we jumped at the opportunity to build tooling that was smarter, intuitive, and faster than anything else," said Ali Nawab. "We are incredibly proud to embed our tooling within the Dayforce suite and scale - amplifying just how powerful modern, data-rich workforce planning can be for any business to thrive through new levels of productivity, effectiveness, and collaboration."

The partnership has been well received by Dayforce customers. Eric Cornu, Head of Organisational Design and Change Management at Nestlé, commented:

"Agentnoon helps leaders see the consequences of their decision in real-time - in an intuitive, visual, and collaborative way. I love what Ali and team have done and see great things ahead for them in the world of AI."

Dayforce Strategic Workforce Planning is now available to customers, extending the company's existing suite of human capital management services and AI-based productivity tools.
